Mersiha Musovic is an actress based out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She made Vancouver her home at 12 years of age, after emigrating from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1994.
Mersiha has studied the craft of acting under a number of well respected teachers such as Matthew Harrison, Aaron Craven, Gina Chiarelli, and Anthony Meindl. During her acting career, Mersiha has found success in the theatre world, having been a part of productions featured in the Vancouver Fringe Festival, Zone Festival and Theatre BC Mainstage.
Outside of theatre, Mersiha has been involved in several web series productions and independent films that have gone on to screen at the Persistence of Vision Film Festival in Vancouver.
Among her accomplishments, Mersiha was awarded "Best Supporting Actress" at the 2015 North Shore Zone Festival and "Best Actress" at the 2015 Theatre BC Mainstage Festival for her performance as 'Izzy' in "Rabbit Hole". She was also the recipient of the best "Outstanding Performance" award in 2013 for her work in "Shady Business".
Mersiha performs regularly with the Vancouver Film School comedy troupe, and can now be seen in the webseries "Baby Making Time" which she has written and produced. "Baby Making Time" was recently awarded the "Best Micro Short Comedy Web Series Award."
